Stephanie Hansen’s Weekly Dish Gift Guide

It’s the gift giving time of year. Here is my suggestion for some fun local gift ideas:

I love the Wood From the Hood guys. They will make you a custom bench or counter top from reclaimed wood but  I also love their simple MN Made Cribbage and Cutting Boards!

Wooden spoons and measuring spoons with funky designs made in wood are at Talisman designs made in St Louis Park and they have super beautiful wooden trays

I love local choclatier BT Mcelrath. This year they have Dark Chocolate truffles, a make your own 9 piece truffle box and when you buy direct online you can save 20% with the promo code:  Giftforall

For the beer – bike set I love these bike jerseys at the new  Indeed Brewing Gift shop.  They also have hoodies, Hats, Growler and custom bottle  gift sets and gift cards which is always a hit

Staying with the beer theme is the Beer Cap Trap –  Why not have a wood six pack holder or a State MN wood carving to hold your Beer Caps!

For the spicy folks on your list get a full set of Heathers Dirty Good Seasonings. I use original on Chicken, Vintage in Pasta, Burlesque in chili – you basically cant go wrong with Heather Dirty Goodnes. Also Golden Figs Laurie Crowell makes her own spices, sugars and salts. Try a sugar cookie with her Chocolate salt sprinkled on top or sprinkle some on a Hot Cocoa.

Annie B’s Artisan candies are as good as they get – pick up a sweet little treat for $10

How about a little education on making coffee at home? I love this idea- Take a Class at Peace Coffee – then you can go out for a cup of peace coffee and breakfast!
