Storm Reid has designed a swimwear collection for PacSun to celebrate turning 18.

The Euphoria actress decided to mark the milestone birthday on 1 July by collaborating with the California lifestyle brand on the ArashiBlu collection, which celebrates being “perfectly imperfect”.

“I’ve always loved fashion. I look at fashion as a space to express yourself, to be able to go out in the world and put something on, take up space and be yourself, and really let the world know how you’re feeling through your outfit,” Reid said in an official statement. “To be able to now have my own fashion collection and endeavours is something that is a blessing and is a real moment.”

The new range features swimsuits as well as matching cover-ups including sarongs and dresses, matching pants, headscarves and tops in pastel and jewel tones.

Reid said promoting body positivity was a big inspiration to her when she was putting the collection together and she wants it to represent “wearing yourself proudly”.

The star named different pieces in the range after some of her closest friends including Gigi Hadid, Zendaya and Chloe x Halle, as well as some of her childhood pals.

“They are all women who are strong, who are making strides in their own communities, in the world, (and) in their own right,” she told Teen Vogue. “So to be able to have a sense of community in friendship in this collection was important.”

The Storm Reid x PacSun collection is priced between $20 (£14.50) and $60 (£44) and is available on Pacsun.com now.
