I talked about this super yummy crock pot recipe today on the show and thought I’d upload it for anyone to enjoy! It’s a fall staple in our house, but I’ll make it anytime I want some warm and yummy comfort food.
2 fresh or smoked turkey thighs or legs
1 18 oz. pkg. Lars Own dried yellow peas (or any dried white bean)
1 yellow onion, chopped
2 C. broth
Your favorite seasonings (garlic, rosemary, etc.)
1 tsp salt (only if you’re using fresh turkey)
Place ingredients in the crock pot. Set to low and let cook for at least 6 hours or until the meat is falling off the bone.0
