I just started “The Crown” on Netflix, and I already can’t wait to finish it.

The 10 episode first season dropped in full on November 4, and I know Julia and Holly are already done with it, because it’s. so. good.

The show is about Elizabeth II (yes, the current queen) taking over the throne from her father amidst World War II, and the professional and personal struggles that accompany the transition.

The production quality is amazing, as is the acting, with relatively unknowns portraying the lead characters, with the exception of John Lithgow as Winston Churchill.

Despite there being so much to watch on television these days, this is a drama worth your time, especially if you are a fan of shows like Downton Abbey and Outlander.

Check out the trailer:

xoxo,

Marley
