In case you live under a rock, and didn’t know, the season premiere of “Game of Thrones” was on Sunday night, and even though I don’t even care much about the show, I cared, because Ed Sheeran was featured.
We had heard early on that he would be appearing in an episode, and you know what, they really played to his strengths!
He sang a song, and it lasted less than a minute, but it was a glorious minute!
The song, titled A Storm of Swords, is taken directly from the books and it goes like this…
He rode through the streets of the city,
down from his hill on high,
O’er the wynds and the steps and the cobbles,
he rode to a woman’s sigh.
For she was his secret treasure,
she was his shame and his bliss.
And a chain and a keep are nothing,
compared to a woman’s kiss
For hands of gold are always cold
but a woman’s hands are warm
